Peoria, IL — The Yellow Bear Foundation is proud to announce the official opening of the Yellow Bear Foundation Office of Immunology & Research in Peoria, Illinois. This milestone marks the fulfillment of a core pillar of our mission: bringing vital care and resources closer to home for families impacted by Primary Immunodeficiency (PI) and other complex immune conditions.
A Local Clinic with Lifesaving Reach
For years, families in Central Illinois have faced the added burden of traveling long distances to receive specialized immunology care. Now, with the opening of this clinic, that barrier has been removed. The Yellow Bear Foundation’s new office offers local access to expert immunologists, early diagnosis of PI, state-of-the-art treatment options, infusion services, and a hub for future research initiatives.

“This clinic is more than a medical space, it’s a lifeline for patients searching for answers, support, and hope.”
Built on Partnership, Powered by Purpose
The clinic is made possible through a partnership with Midwest Allergy Sinus Asthma SC (MASA), whose rotating providers bring decades of combined expertise to the region. Services now available at the Peoria office include the diagnosis and management of PI, allergy testing and immunotherapy, asthma and respiratory care, infusion and biologic therapy, and food allergy treatment. MASA's rotating schedule currently includes:
Ashley Lynn, NP – Infusion & general services (Wednesdays, starting at 9 AM)
Dr. David Skillrud – Respiratory care (1st Tuesdays, 9 AM)
Kat Lally, NP – Food allergy & general services (2nd Tuesdays, 9 AM)
Appointments are available to new and returning patients. Call 309.452.0995 to schedule.
A Future of Better Access Starts Here
The Yellow Bear Foundation’s mission has always been rooted in the real experiences of families navigating life with PI. This clinic reflects a vision of a stronger, more equitable healthcare landscape—one where distance is no longer a barrier to quality care. By expanding local access to expert diagnosis and treatment, we hope to create earlier intervention pathways, improved outcomes, and a community better equipped to support those living with immunodeficiencies.
The clinic is now open at 6812 Knoxville Ave, Peoria, IL 61614.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand access, advance research, and serve families with courage and compassion.
