is a non-profit organization empowering communities to increase awareness and fund research for Primary Immunodeficiency (PI). Only through research can we improve the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for those who have PI.
WHEN AN INFECTION IS MORE THAN AN INFECTION
The most important function of our immune system is to protect us from infections. But what if your immune system isn’t functioning properly or is incomplete? This is what one of 10 Americans have to deal with on a daily basis. It’s called Primary Immunodeficiency (PI) and those who have it are more susceptible to infections in the skin, sinuses, throat, ears, lungs, brain and spinal cord, as well as the urinary and intestinal tracts. As a result, people with PI can endure recurrent health problems as well as serious and debilitating illnesses. Find out more about PI and how you can help!
